Visit to Hillier Gardens for a Roman archaeology day –Monday 27th November

We are excited that we have arranged a day for Willow Class to go to Harold Hilliers Education Centre to find out all about how the Romans lived. Please see the letter sent home to get a taste of what the day will involve.

“Set within our woodland and wider Gardens, a day’s programme is led by our team and a qualified archaeologist. It consists of practical hands-on archaeological activities and time for exploring the natural “playground” by clambering on logs and building dens. Schools are encouraged to enjoy a picnic lunch around an open fire.
