The School Improvement Plan (the SIP) sets out the priority areas for school improvement and development each year.
The priorities within the plan are developed by the Headteacher, Governors, staff, and children – taking account of our own self-evaluation, OFSTED inspection reports, Leadership Learning Partner (LLP) reports initiated by the County, feedback from the school’s Governing body, and input from specialists such as those with expertise in safeguarding. The SIP at West Tytherley is a dynamic document, providing a clear strategic framework for the school year, but adaptable to changing circumstances and priorities as they emerge.
Through discussions between a group of children in Year 6 and the Chair of Governors, we have also created a view of the children’s perspective on the school improvement priorities for the year ahead, available here.
