Who we are and what we do
At West Tytherley C of E Primary School, we are proud to have a creative and enthusiastic committee of volunteers who make up the PTA (parent-teacher association).
All parents and guardians of children at the school are welcome to join the PTA and volunteers at events are always hugely appreciated.
West Tytherley PTA is a registered charity (Registered Charity No. 1154103) with the main purpose of raising money to enhance, enrich and improve the learning experiences and wellbeing of all the children at this wonderful village school.
Throughout the academic year, the PTA fund and support special events that make each child’s school journey memorable, such as a visit from Father Christmas, a festive pantomime, discos, and much more!
Parents and guardians will be notified of upcoming meetings and events via the newsletter, email, and our class WhatsApp chats. The events are not just for fundraising; they are to further develop community spirit!
If you have any questions or fundraising ideas, please contact the PTA via email:

West Tytherley Twinkle Toes
Supported by the school and run by volunteers from West Tytherley PTA, West Tytherley Twinkle Toes is a weekly playgroup for children aged 0-4 and their grown ups!
The group takes place from 9.30-11.00am every Friday (during term time) in King Edward’s Hall, West Tytherley. It costs just £2.00 per family.
Everyone is welcome to join us for child-led play, singing, crafts and, of course, biscuits!
Thank you for supporting your school’s PTA!
